Our Story

One glare, one question, one lifetime

It all started with a simple question at the gym — when Carlos walked over to ask for a grip for the cable machine. Aggeliki's death stare was so intense that it caught Carlos off guard, and he never thought they would talk again. Days passed, they kept crossing paths at the gym, saying nothing — just familiar strangers. Then one day, through a common friend, Aggeliki walked over and asked: "Who are you?" Before long, our connection extended beyond the gym, and we found ourselves spending more time together, enjoying the ease and happiness of each other's company. What we built didn't happen overnight — it grew gently and naturally, rooted in friendship, trust, and companionship. Over time, that quiet, steady bond blossomed into something deeper, something beautiful, and something that led us here today.

The Ceremony
October 25, 2026 · 1:00 PM
Holy Church of Saint Paraskevi
Agias Paraskevis 25, Katerini

The Orthodox Mystery of Marriage is a sacred ceremony expressing the spiritual union of two people in Christ. It begins with the blessing and exchange of rings, followed by the crowning with stefana, symbols of victory, unity and shared devotion. Rather than exchanging personal vows, the couple enters into a holy covenant before God, entrusting their lives to Him and to one another. Their commitment is made in faith, guided by His grace. Prayers, scripture, and hymns accompany the service, while the shared cup signifies a life of both joy and challenge together. The ceremonial walk around the altar marks their first steps in faith.

Thessaloniki

23 Centuries of History

Thessaloniki is rich in history — stroll the Upper City (Ano Poli) along cobblestoned roads and stop for meze and tsipouro. Visit the White Tower, the Archaeological & Byzantine museums, or the Kapani market for local shopping and the vibe of a different era.

You can also visit on pilgrimage the relics of St Demetrius, patron of the city. The city itself is an open-air museum — just strolling around reveals remnants of its layered past everywhere.
